Chapter 2.1 - Helena's Peach Pie Smoothie

Makes 4 10 oz. Smoothies

Perfect for my girls when they get home from school and need a snack before they start homework or it's a great healthy dessert substitute after ballet and softball practice before heading to bed.

  • 1 cup 2% low-fat milk (substitute almond milk for my Keto-friendly husband)
  • 2 cups frozen peaches (substitute frozen berries again for the Keto-friendly husband)
  • 1 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt (this helps reduce the acidic taste of using all Greek yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup your choice teddy bear-shaped graham cookies (save some for garnish)
  • 1 banana (because my girls need all the energy they can get!)

Put the milk, yogurt, and banana in the blender first.  It is hard for the blender to process the hard, frozen fruit if that is put in first.  Then add the frozen peaches and graham cookies.  Blend on high for just a few minutes until smooth.  Pour in your favorite Compass glass, garnish with some more graham cookies on the top, and enjoy!
